l33tminion: My statement re. IQ actually came from a dinner I ate with a neuropsychologist with about 40 years' experience. I asked her just how significant IQ truly was, and she said that past an IQ of 90 or so, there was no correlation between higher IQ and having a happy, successful adult life. She noted that below that number, one could expect to have adversity in high school, difficulty in college and considerable difficulty in graduate school.
Fixed the auto-play issue! Also, yes, there are always holes in a 30 minute discussion on complex issues. I think every once in a while we'll do a revisit podcast to try to fill in the missing parts of previous podcasts
